Find the Xtream option in your app
IPTV Smarters Pro shows Login with Xtream Codes API on its opening screen. TiViMate puts it under Add playlist, then Xtream Codes. Elsewhere you may see XC, Xtream or API login. If your app only accepts a single playlist link, follow our M3U playlist guide instead.
Enter the server URL carefully
Expect something shaped like http://line.example.com:8080, opening with http:// and closing with a port number after a colon. Do not add a slash or a space after the port. Most failed sign-ins come from this field, so read it back once before you move on.
Add the username and password
Copy both from the WhatsApp message exactly. Capital and small letters are treated as different, so one wrong case stops the sign-in. If the app wants a profile name as well, label it by room or by viewer, for instance Den, Upstairs or Kids.
Wait for the first download
The app now pulls in the channel list, the TV guide and the on-demand menus. You never paste an EPG link, because the guide comes with the login. Allow a minute or two, a little longer on a small stick or an older TV. Once it finishes, the next launch is much quicker.
Explore the menus the login creates
After that first download, the player splits content into its own areas: live channels, the movie and series library, and Catch Up. The guide fills in next to live channels, catch-up appears on channels that keep an archive, and a search box helps with 120,000+ titles. A basic playlist gives none of that structure.
Set the guide to your time zone
Begin with the device time zone, because every player reads the system clock. If listings still look early or late, most players have an offset: EPG Timeshift in Smarters, Time offset under EPG sources in TiViMate. Move it by whole hours until the programme on screen matches the guide. Recheck the offset after a daylight saving change.
Replay shows on channels with an archive
Open Catch Up in Smarters, or scroll back in the TiViMate grid with Premium. Only channels with an archive offer replays, and the window differs by channel. The login itself needs no extra setting; the app shows what each channel keeps. A wrong device date hides past programmes, so keep automatic time switched on.
Set favourites and a parental PIN in each app
Save the channels your family uses as favourites. Smarters keeps a PIN and locked categories under Parental Control, and TiViMate has its own lock. These settings live in the app on each device, not in your SyntraTV account, so set them on every screen the children use.
Use the same login on another screen
Type the same three details into the app on a phone, laptop or second TV, and give each profile a clear name. Installs are unlimited; screens playing at the same time are not. Your plan covers 1, 2, 3 or 5. If four people each watch something different after dinner, the 5-device plan fits.
Keep your details private
Star the WhatsApp message or store the details in a password manager. Anyone who has them can use your screens and push yours off in the middle of a show. Never post them in groups or forums, and do not send them to anyone outside the household. Suspect a leak? Message support and we will issue a fresh password.

My app only has an M3U field
That is fine. Your WhatsApp activation also contains an M3U link built from the same login. Paste that instead, and follow the M3U playlist guide on this site for the steps.
The sign-in fails with the right password
Check the server line first. A missing http://, the wrong port or a slash after the port causes most rejections. When the address checks out, look at the plan end date; SyntraTV plans simply end instead of renewing on their own.
A too many connections message appears
Your plan limits how many screens play at once. End the stream on one of the other screens, or give an abandoned session around a minute to time out. If it happens every evening, a plan with more screens is the lasting fix. Players left open on a paused channel still count, so close them properly.
It worked yesterday and fails today
Start by confirming the plan is still running, because none of our plans auto-renew. A recent password reset would cause the same thing. Snap the error and send it to us on WhatsApp so we can look at the account.
The TV guide is empty
Run the EPG or guide update in the app and wait a few minutes. If only some channels stay blank, their broadcasters publish no schedule. If the whole guide stays empty, sign out and in again. Also confirm the device clock is correct, since a wrong date can hide listings.
Live TV is empty but films load
Working films prove the login is fine; the live list stored on that device is just stale. Reload Live TV, or log out and back in. No luck? Switch the stream format if your app has that option, and let support know the device and player.
The app rejects the server address
Some players ask for the host name and the port number in two different fields. If there is a port field, type the address without the port there and put only the number in the port box. Leave out any slash at the end.
The first catalogue load is slow
Indexing 120,000+ titles takes real effort from a small streaming stick. Leave it to finish. Later launches use a saved copy and open much faster, so the wait only happens the first time. Avoid pressing buttons while it works.

What does each Xtream Codes detail do?
The server URL tells the app which server to contact. The username and password prove the account is yours. Picture the URL as the front door and the other two as your key. With all three, the app opens live channels, the guide, catch-up and the film library, within the screen count of your plan.
Should I use the Xtream login or the M3U link?
In most players, yes. Content arrives sorted into sections, the guide and catalogue update by themselves, and catch-up works where channels keep an archive. Keep the M3U link as well, because VLC, Kodi and Smart IPTV only take a playlist. Both come in the same WhatsApp message.
Which player is best for an Xtream login?
IPTV Smarters Pro is the easiest all-round choice, with clear menus for live TV, films, series and catch-up on almost every device. TiViMate is best for live TV on Android TV and Fire OS. Is the IPTV player free?
Several good players are free. IPTV Smarters Pro costs nothing, and TiViMate is free for live TV with an optional Premium licence sold in its Companion app. Smarters Player Lite is free on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. None of them include channels; your SyntraTV login supplies those. Be wary of any player that asks you to pay for channels inside the app.
Is using an Xtream Codes login legal?
An Xtream login is just a way to sign in, no different in principle from any other account, and the players that use it are normal apps. The legal test is whether a provider has rights to the content it delivers. In the United States, the Protecting Lawful Streaming Act of 2020 targets those who operate unlawful streaming services for profit. Treat this as general background rather than legal advice.
Can I share my Xtream login with a relative?
Only within your own plan. Each login has a fixed number of screens, so a relative watching on a 1-device plan will cut off your viewing. If they need their own screens, a separate plan in their name, or the SyntraTV 24-hour free trial, is the better route. Shared logins outside the home can also get the account flagged.
Can support give me a new password?
Yes. Send a WhatsApp message and SyntraTV support will create a replacement password. The previous one dies immediately, so update every app that still holds it. Your server link and user name usually do not change, which means only the password field needs retyping.
Does a MAG box use Xtream details?
Not usually. A regular MAG signs in through a portal that our team links to the MAC on its label. A Formuler is more flexible and accepts either a portal or Xtream details in MyTVOnline. Own a MAG already? Message us for the portal link and keep using it.
